The apprenticeship programme for quarrying multi-experts has been running at the Kemi mine for one year.

Employees learned about the field in a practical and genuine learning environment.

At the end of the programme, six students received a vocational degree in mining.

“Through additional training, we enable the continuous development of professional skills. We train our staff together in conjunction with various educational institutions and equipment manufacturers using the latest methods in the industry”, says Chief Administrative Officer Janne Alatalo.

Apprenticeship programmes for work in the industry will continue to be provided in the future. Tapojärvi employees will primarily be selected for the training programme.

Tapojärvi Oy currently employs around 450 people.
